Retail Division

Through efficient and effective management, training, and motivation of our security officers our Retail Division ensure service excellence. Our staff regularly receive reinforcement training and onsite training is provided on a continuous basis in accordance with current retail security trends and tendencies.

Our value-add includes a detailed analysis of all incidents (per retail outlet) through our MEMEX Patriarch system and providing our clients with monthly statistics regarding arrests, modus operandi, of high-risk peak hours on shoplifting, targeted assets and the identification of offenders and crime syndicates. All our retail security officers are trained in floorwalker methods. We analyse shrinkage variance reports and recommend remedial procedures to reduce the risk of high shrinkage.

Retail security services include:

• Staff entrance access management
• Double checking at receiving of high-risk deliveries
• Controlling and monitoring of in-store product stock usage and stock unit pricing
• Monitoring, recording and preventing of pilferage levels in service and storage areas
• Monitoring and prevention of wastage, reduced to clear goods, adherence to the cold chain during deliveries, and all internal procedures
• Frontline patrolling and observation for under-ringing, over-ringing, insufficiently
• controlled audits and the potential for till-snatching robbers, returns, etc.
• Controlling of staff purchases and staff tills
• Identifying potential hazards on the trading floor which may result in injuries
• Lock down and sealing of doors at end of trading day
• Attend early store openings with risk specific deployments
